Qualifications

• Experience with animals or hatchery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transferring eggs from incubators to hatchers.
• Ensuring the initial pull of hatched poults to the Service Room.
• Assisting with counting poults hatched.
• Supporting production across departments to keep operations running.
• Preparing the pull order for the following day.
• Running and monitoring the tray washer.
• Cleaning and disinfecting racks and hatchers with chemicals.
• Assisting maintenance with unloading deliveries.
• Lifting crates/boxes up to 50 pounds.
• Pushing/pulling up to 150 pounds with assistance.
• Following animal welfare and biosecurity protocols.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Work extended days and weekends if needed.
