Job summary

Cobb Sweetwater Farm is hiring a Brooder House Worker Team Member to supervise brooder operations, regulate house temperatures, and support bird care. The role includes maintaining records of weights, medications, and mortality, with duties extending to hatch day activities and occasional vehicle operation.

Eligible candidates should have at least 12 months with one employer and be able to learn basic computer tools such as Outlook, Cobb Data Collection Programs, Excel and Workday.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no major gaps.
• Experience in agricultural or production settings is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and operate basic computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Adjusts controls to regulate temperature in chicken houses and monitors birds for illness.
• Supervises feeding and watering, records weights, medications, and mortality data.
• Cleans and disinfects waterers and pens, performs routine housekeeping and equipment checks.
• Supervise hatch activities on specified days and assist with events when R&D or other teams are on site.
• Operate company vehicles for transporting eggs and chicks, and pass DOT certification as required.
• Learn and use basic programs like Outlook, Cobb Data Collection, Excel, and Workday.
