The position involves troubleshooting and maintaining poultry-house systems to keep production safe and efficient. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic equipment.
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, blueprints, or equipment documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and preventative maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain feed systems, water supply systems, mechanical scrapers, cooling and ventilation equipment, and egg collection equipment
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on poultry house equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and ensure equipment operates efficiently
• Support daily operations by maintaining a safe and productive work environment
• Report equipment concerns and assist with preventative maintenance activities
