Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of the hog and poultry industry.
• Knowledge of parts and equipment used in modern hog and poultry facilities.
• General PC familiarity and ability to use Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Ability to learn Hog Slat Quote System.
• Experience measuring and laying out drawings of buildings and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong relationship with customers in the territory.
• Identify potential growth areas including independents and contract growers.
• Increase our market share.
• Prepare and conduct product information presentations to communicate offerings, features, and service.
• Manage warranty issues.
• Schedule and coordinate deliveries and installation of parts & equipment.
• Advise customers on design, function, and layout specifications.
• Qualify leads and set up customer credit options.
• Attend sales meetings and vendor product seminars.
• Organize and attend local and regional trade shows in the territory.
