Job summary

Georgia Poultry Equipment Company, a division of Hog Slat, Inc., seeks a Delivery/Warehouse Assistant to join our Forest, MS location. You will help ship/receive merchandise, stock shelves, and make deliveries to customer farms and other Hog Slat locations.

Candidates should have a valid driver's license, at least one year of customer service experience, and basic PC skills including Outlook, Word and Excel. Familiarity with our invoicing and inventory software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of parts and equipment used in modern poultry facilities.
• General PC familiarity and ability to use standard Microsoft Office apps.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain it during employment.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to use Outlook, Word and Excel in daily communications.
• Ability to become proficient at Georgia Poultry's invoicing and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in shipping & receiving of merchandise in warehouse.
• Stock store shelves to maintain inventory levels.
• Make deliveries to customer farms and other Hog Slat locations.
• Maintain a clean and organized store front and warehouse.
• Work with Georgia Poultry customers to understand their needs.
• Provide recommendations on parts & equipment to address customer needs.
