Georgia Poultry Equipment Company, a division of Hog Slat, Inc., seeks a Counter Sales Representative to join our Brookhaven, MS retail location. You will help customers select the best poultry equipment, explain features, and promote Georgia Poultry products.

Responsibilities include in-store and phone assistance, inventory handling, and occasional farm deliveries. Some training opportunities and a focus on knowledge growth are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience in poultry farming or retail sales preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and operate a forklift.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and email.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willing to obtain forklift certification.
• Able to learn inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail customers in-store and over the phone.
• Recommend parts and equipment to meet customer needs.
• Educate customers on new products and promotions.
• Handle cash transactions and operate office equipment.
• Assist with inventory including unloading stock trucks and cycle counts.
• Join the team to maintain a clean, orderly store.
• Occasionally make deliveries to farms.
