Job summary

Simmons Foods is seeking a team-oriented worker for Debone line production. You will rotate through multiple tasks on the line, including cutting breasts, wings, skin removal, and loading products, while aligning with company standards and Lean practices.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork and adherence to quality systems. Veterans and individuals with poultry industry experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Industry experience: Poultry or food processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all positions on the line in Debone.
• Rotates positions to include cutting breasts, wings; pulling skin; using a saw; loading product; tray packing and other Debone positions.
• Participates as a member of the Team and helps develop, communicate and implement team concepts, programs and policies; coordinates work to ensure best practices; attends team meetings.
• Maintains familiarity with Simmons operating systems (quality, security, office environment, LEAN) and supports these systems.
• Performs other duties as necessary to support business objectives and adapts to the work described as needed.
• Physical Activities include working in a cold environment to 40 degrees F, standing 8–10 hours, and tasks such as reaching, bending, twisting, lifting, and repetitive motions.
• Personal Protective Equipment: waterproof footwear, gloves, apron, hearing protection, hair nets, and other PPE as required.
