Job summary

Simmons Foods is seeking a team-oriented Debone line worker to operate across multiple positions on the Debone production line. This role includes rotating duties such as cutting breasts, wings, skin pulling, and packing while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The position emphasizes strong teamwork, adherence to LEAN practices, and active participation in meetings and continuous improvement efforts. PPE is required and the work environment is cold and fast-paced.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a cold environment (down to 40°F).
• Able to stand and move for 8-10 hours daily.
• Experience or familiarity with team-based LEAN practices.
• Willing to use PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all positions on the Debone line and rotates as needed (breasts, wings, skin, saw, loading, packing).
• Participates as a member of the Team and attends team meetings.
• Supports development and communication of team concepts, programs, and policies to ensure best practices.
• Fosters cohesiveness on major issues and helps resolve conflicts with the team leader.
• Adheres to Simmons operating systems and policies, and communicates concerns or improvement ideas.
• Performs other duties as necessary to support business objectives.
