Job summary

Pilgrim’s in Alabama seeks a Breeder Manager to direct and coordinate breeder operations, ensuring the timely delivery of hatch eggs to hatcheries. You will supervise Breeder Service Techs, schedule work, and evaluate performance, with authority over personnel actions.

Candidates should have at least 5 years in management and 5 years in poultry grow-out, a High School diploma or GED (Bachelor’s preferred), and strong computer skills (Word/Excel; SAP preferred).

Qualifications

• 5 years of management experience in a directly related field.
• 5 years of directly related experience in poultry grow-out operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day breeder operations to ensure required quantity and quality of hatch eggs for hatcheries.
• Implements and monitors pullet and breeder production programs; trains and develops supervisors.
• Provides communication and direction for contract pullet and breeder producers.
