Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Pouch Operator to support the pouching department. You will load, set up, and operate pouching machines, perform testing and documentation, and ensure products meet customer specifications.

The role requires good mechanical ability, computer use, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include maintaining safety, following EHS and Quality systems, and communicating with team leaders daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years slitting or pouching experience preferred.
• General knowledge of computers preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Fork Truck Certification preferred.
• Ability to read and complete reports in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate pouching equipment to meet quality and productivity requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Ensure material meets customer requirements throughout the run.
• Record and test products and apply labels as required.
• Communicate with management and maintenance on a daily basis.
