Job summary

MAC Incorporated is looking for a Pouch Machine Operator in Addison, Illinois to set up, operate, and troubleshoot pouch packaging equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for producing quality products safely while minimizing downtime and meeting production goals.

The role requires 1 year of machine operating experience and familiarity with pouch packaging equipment. Shifts run Monday-Friday across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd sessions with a hourly pay range of $21–$24.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating pouch packaging equipment is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot production equipment.
• Ability to read a ruler and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and equipment manuals in English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up pouch machines according to production specifications.
• Operate and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.
• Perform quality inspections throughout the production process.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and work with the maintenance team to minimize downtime.
• Make machine adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
• Complete production paperwork and required documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all safety and GMP procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, maintenance, and production team members.
