Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Scientist on the Analytical Development Potency team to advance analytical strategies and bring transformative therapies to patients. This hands-on role designs, develops, and executes complex potency cell-based assays, flow cytometry workflows, and immunoassays, leading method transfer and validation in GMP settings.

You will work with limited supervision in a cross-functional environment, mentoring junior scientists and contributing to project

Qualifications

• Master’s (PhD preferred) in immunology, molecular biology and cell biology.
• 4–6+ years of assay development or QC/cGMP experience.
• Proficient in JMP, SAS, or equivalent.
• Strong technical writing and cross-functional communication.
• Working knowledge of QbD, ICH guidelines.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead method transfer, validation, and routine testing.
• Design, execute, and interpret potency cell-based assays.
• Develop robust, scalable analytical workflows with quality data.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams and document results.
• Mentor junior scientists and train on methods.
