Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking an experienced Analytical Sciences and Technology professional to own the analytical method lifecycle for Cell Therapy products. You will provide strategic scientific leadership, collaborating with Analytical Development, Regulatory Affairs, and Manufacturing to ensure robust, compliant methods that support product quality and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline required, advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant biotech/pharma experience in analytical sciences or cell therapy.
  • Experience leading global analytical programs and scientific leadership across functions/sites.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing, quality systems, regulatory affairs, and product lifecycle management.
  • Proven ability to influence technical direction and deliver innovative analytical strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Act as technical lead for validation, transfer, lifecycle management, investigations, and performance optimization of analytical methods for Cell Therapy products.
  • Lead matrix and cross-functional teams on high-risk analytics initiatives and quality improvements.
  • Drive analytical strategy with innovative approaches to support long-term objectives.
  • Develop solutions for complex analytical challenges impacting product quality and compliance.
  • Lead trend analysis, monitoring, and implementation of improvement actions.
  • Coordinate with internal/external labs for method transfers and validation activities.
  • Promote continuous improvement and standardization across sites and products.
  • Champion digitalization, automation, and data integrity in analytical workflows.
  • Author and review complex technical reports, validation protocols, and regulatory submissions.
