Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb Co in Seattle, WA seeks a Senior Scientist to support the Cellular Therapy QC analytical portfolio. You will perform hands-on bench experiments in bioassay, flow cytometry and molecular biology, analyze data, and ensure results meet regulatory standards.

The role requires 8+ years in analytical science, experience with GMP, and strong written and verbal communication to document methods, risk assessments, and investigations. Travel to partner sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent is required; Advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant analytical experience in a regulated environment (GMP) or related field.
• Experience with cell-therapy, gene-therapy or viral vector QC environments and regulatory guidelines (FDA/EMA/ICH/USP/EP).
• Strong technical writing and ability to train others on methods and instruments.

Responsibilities

• Provide bioassay, flow cytometry and/or molecular biology analytical expertise in QC lab investigations.
• Design, plan and independently execute experimental work with high technical proficiency and data documentation.
• Contribute to development and optimization of lab methods and protocols.
• Present findings to the team and support preparation of internal technical reports and regulatory submissions.
• Lead method transfer, validation, and maintenance activities in a cGMP setting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor others in cell biology techniques.
