Job summary
Analytical Development in Boston, MA is seeking a Lab Manager to join the team, executing functional potency bioassays and maintaining documentation.
The role supports assay performance, data collection, and troubleshooting under supervision, with a Monday–Friday on-site schedule.
Ideal candidate has 2+ years in regulated labs, experience with ELN/LIMS, and expertise in flow cytometry and ELISA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Cell & Molecular Biology or Biochemistry.
- At least 2 years of industry or regulated-laboratory experience; master’s with 0–2+ years considered.
- Preferred experience in cell and gene therapy space.
- Experience with sample management and ELN/LIMS systems.
- Experience using biology lab equipment (pipettes, centrifuge, microscope, plate reader, flow cytometer).
Responsibilities
- Execute functional potency bioassays and data collection for Analytical Development.
- Perform potency testing using ELISA and plate-based platforms; utilize flow cytometry as needed.
- Support biologicsAD workstreams with assay performance and raw-data tracking.
- Assist with assay troubleshooting, optimization, and performance trending under supervision.
- Maintain clear, accurate electronic lab notebook documentation and manage reagents and materials.
