Job summary

Potawatomi Casino Hotel is seeking a Sports Bar Bartender to craft cocktails, greet guests, and keep the energy flowing across our Sportsbook. This fast-paced role requires friendly, outgoing service and attention to detail behind the bar.

You will mix drinks per recipes, learn our beverage selections, operate bar equipment, and use the POS system to enter orders and process payments. Starting wage is $11.60 per hour plus tips, with various shifts and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 6 months of bartending experience
• Excellent communication, hospitality, interpersonal and math skills
• Ability to achieve Responsible Alcohol and ServSafe certifications within 90 days
• Ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts, including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Mix or pour drinks per recipe cards using accurate measures and proper glassware
• Greet guests with a friendly acknowledgment and address needs promptly
• Maintain knowledge of beverage selections including wine, liqueur, liquor, champagne, and beer
• Operate and clean bar equipment and dispensing systems, coffee machines, taps
• Use POS to enter orders, process transactions, and balance cash to sales reports

Below are some of the responsibilities as a Potawatomi Casino Hotel Sports Bar Bartender:

• Mix or pour drinks per recipe cards using accurate measures and proper glassware. Fill orders for servers and serve directly to guests.
• Greet guests with a friendly acknowledgment. Assess, anticipate, and address guest needs and concerns in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Maintain complete knowledge of beverage selections to include wine, liqueur, liquor, champagne, and beer
• Operate and clean all equipment in bar areas and service stations, including beverage dispensing systems, coffee machines, and beer taps.
• Use point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately enter orders, dispense correct change, and process credit card and other transactions. Ensure proper procedures are followed for handling of financial transactions, including balancing bank to sales report

What you need:

• 6 months of bartending experience
• Excellent communication, hospitality, interpersonal and math skills.
• The ability to successfully achieve Responsible Alcohol and ServSafe certifications and City of Milwaukee bartender's license within 90 days.
• The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts, including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Responsible Alcohol and ServSafe certifications.
• Experience with point-of-sale (POS)
