Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Language skills: read and comprehend simple instructions, write simple correspondence.
• Basic arithmetic with money, weight, volume for everyday tasks.
• Ability to apply common sense and follow written or oral instructions.
• Food Handler’s Permit, Clark County Health Department.

Responsibilities

• Empty baskets of cooked potatoes into the hopper feeding tiromat.
• Follow GMPs related to food handling.
• Move baskets to the wash conveyor for sanitizing.
• Ensure potatoes are not contaminated, following GMPs.
• Assist with end-of-shift clean-up.
• Visually inspect potatoes for correct product on the packaging line.
• Communicate information to coworkers on shift.
• Adhere to safety policies, GMPs, and sanitary conditions to protect quality.
• Maintain a safe and healthy workplace and report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain product quality and report conditions affecting safety/quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
