North Carolina State University is seeking AmeriCorps Next Step Advisers to serve in rural high schools across North Carolina. Advisers will provide one-on-one admissions and financial aid advising, and organize group events to encourage student enrollment in post-secondary opportunities. Candidates should have an associate’s degree (or be close to earning one) and strong skills in organization, leadership, and communication. This role requires a commitment to community service and offers a salary between $35,000 to $41,000 depending on experience.
Qualifications
Earned or will earn an associate’s degree between May 2019 and June 2026.
Previous experience working with youth is preferred.
