Job summary

Inova Loudoun Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Postpartum Unit on a Part-time Night Shift (2x12 hr: 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.). The role focuses on skilled patient care, coordination, and family-centered support in a fast-paced maternity setting.

Minimum requirements include a BSN, Virginia RN licensure or eligibility, and 1 year of critical care/ postpartum experience. BLS and AC LS/PALS certifications are expected within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• BSN required from an accredited nursing program.
• RN with Virginia licensure or eligibility.
• ACLS/PALS/other certifications as required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care and coordinate patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Deliver patient/family-centered care in a holistic manner.
• Document care activities and ensure accurate charting.
• Support transitions and care coordination across disciplines.
