St. David's HealthCare is seeking a Postpartum Registered Nurse to educate and support new mothers and their babies on the Mother Baby Unit. You will perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical nursing experience as an RN.
• 1 year of acute care experience preferred.
• Associates Degree of Nursing required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for mother and baby.
• Plan, implement and evaluate care plans to optimize outcomes.
• Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed staff.
• Educate patients and families, and recognize postpartum mood symptoms.
