Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of RN clinical nursing experience
• 1 year of acute care experience preferred
• NRP and BLS certifications required by policy
• TN RN license or Compact license with 90 days to obtain Texas license

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for mother and baby following standards of care.
• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes.
• Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed staff within RN scope.
• Educate and support patients and families, recognizing postpartum depression symptoms
