Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist the Postpartum unit under RN supervision. This part-time role (16 hours/week) is non-benefits eligible and includes varied shifts such as 1500-2330 and 2300-0730 with weekend rotation.

Ideal candidates have CNA training or nursing clinical rotation, current AHA BLS, and inpatient PCT or maternal child health exposure. Benefits exist for eligible positions and career growth opportunities are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited CNA training course preferred.
• Completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work under RN supervision to deliver patient care on the Postpartum unit.
• Assist with vital signs, 12-lead EKG, bladder ultrasound, Foley removal, IV adapter removal, specimen collection, hygiene and mobility tasks.
• Assist with implementing patient-specific care plans.
• Participate in activities essential to functioning of the patient care unit.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and high-quality patient experience.
