Boston Medical Center (BMC) seeks a Patient Care Technician for the Post-Partum Unit and Newborn Nursery. You will provide couplet care after delivery, supporting families and ensuring first days of care set them up for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS and CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to pass clinical competency testing.
• Physical ability to meet job responsibilities.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• One of: prior PCT in acute hospital, nursing program with two clinical rotations, or approved PCT training.
• EMT/field medic experience considered for ED roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated patient care interventions for patients in the ED and families.
• Obtain vital signs, assist with hygiene, transport, and comfort.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for patients, visitors, staff.
• Support efficient ED operations and patient/family outcomes.
