Boston Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Postpartum unit to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to new mothers and their families. You will work within a Magnet-recognized organization focused on family-centered care and supportive team environments.

The role supports vital care activities, environmental safety, and collaborative patient care within a dynamic ED and Mother Baby setting, with opportunities for training and growth within BMCHS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification with CPR current or obtained within 30 days.
• Ability to pass clinical competency testing.
• Physical ability to meet job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated patient care for patients and families in the ED.
• Vital signs, personal care, hygiene, feeding, and dressing wounds as needed.
• Keep environment safe, clean, and stocked for patient care.
• Support efficient ED operations and patient/family outcomes.
