Job summary

Mercy seeks a dedicated registered nurse to oversee postoperative patient care. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care per the care plan, ensuring documentation in the medical record and communication with the care team.

Maintain post-anesthesia competencies and uphold Mercy’s mission. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active RN licensure in the practicing state, CPR and ACLS certifications, and 1 year hospital or medical-surgical

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• RN licensure in the state of practice.
• 1 year hospital or medical-surgical experience preferred.
• CPR and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for postoperative patients per the plan of care.
• Communicate findings to appropriate persons and document in the patient’s medical record.
