Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process, coordinate with departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality. Graduates from an accredited nursing school with an RN license are eligible, with BLS required and ACLS/NRP/ENPC etc as unit-specific certifications.

Responsibilities include evaluating care effectiveness, maintaining Mercy Service Standards, and supporting team members.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license required and current in the hiring state or compact licensure recognized where nursing duties are performed.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
