Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide care using the nursing process and to oversee the overall quality of patient care for assigned patients. You will coordinate with other departments to ensure comprehensive treatment while safeguarding patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications

Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
RN license required in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
Basic Life Support certification or course completed within 30 days of hire.
One or more of the listed certifications may be required depending on position/unit.

Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
Maintains professional accountability for the care of assigned patients; evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
Coordinates patient care in collaboration with other departments.
Protects patient rights and confidentiality of information and adheres to Mercy Service Standards.
