Job summary

athenahealth is seeking a Posting Operations Associate to own end-to-end processes within the Posting Outcomes team of our RCM division. You will coordinate across functions, drive results, mentor analysts, and contribute to training and onboarding.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of project coordination experience, with strong communication and data-analysis skills. Compensation includes base salary of $50,000–$86,000 plus discretionary bonuses and equity plans.

Responsibilities

• Own complete processes within assigned workflow areas, ensuring end-to-end quality and performance.
• Manage multiple competing priorities and adapt quickly to changing business needs.
• Resolve complex issues requiring coordination across multiple teams or systems.
• Lead small-scale improvement projects from identification through implementation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Analyze performance data to identify trends and recommend strategic actions.
• Document and communicate process changes to stakeholders.
• Formally mentor Analyst and Senior Analyst team members, providing regular feedback and guidance.
• Contribute to training program development and deliver training sessions as needed.
• Support onboarding of new team members and ensure knowledge transfer.
• Participate in professional development activities and share learnings with the team.

Role Overview

In this role, the Posting Operations Associate will take ownership of complete processes and smaller projects while coordinating across functions to achieve team objectives. Additionally, the individual will develop others, contribute to strategic initiatives, seek feedback, adapt approach based on stakeholder needs, drive results, collaborate inclusively, and instill trust through consistent delivery and transparent communication.

Compensation

Base salary range: $50,000 – $86,000. The base pay depends on experience, knowledge, skills, and geographic market rates. Additional compensation includes short‑term and long‑term incentives through discretionary bonuses, variable compensation, and equity plans.
