Job summary

Cedars-Sinai's Shiao Lab in Radiation Oncology invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scientist. You will work independently and with a team of researchers to perform routine and advanced laboratory procedures, analyze data, and support publications and grant proposals.

Qualifications

• PhD or MD/PhD equivalent in a field directly related to the research.
• Within 5 years of completing doctoral degree and actively developing the research career.

Responsibilities

• Designs and performs experiments under supervision; keeps records and analyzes results with PI.
• Analyzes and interprets data and assists in publications.
• May assist in grant proposal preparation; may contribute to presentations as author or co-author.
• Operates and maintains laboratory equipment and instruments.
• May develop and implement new research techniques and protocols.
• Performs routine and complex laboratory procedures during training period.
• Observes interactions relevant to research in the lab setting.
