Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's degree and two years of professional research; a master's may substitute for one year.
• Preferred: Ph.D. in neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience, psychology, biomedical engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Preferred: strong publications in memory research and cognitive neuroscience.
• Preferred: programming in Python, MATLAB, or R.
• Preferred: experience with advanced fMRI analysis and TMS.
• Preferred: mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and with a team to own analysis projects and contribute to a collaborative environment.
• Contribute to NIH-funded studies on awake memory consolidation.
• Oversee data quality monitoring and preprocessing of fMRI, physiology, and behavioral data.
• Develop and execute novel data analysis projects with input from collaborators.
• Drive manuscript preparation and publication of findings.
• Mentor Research Assistants on data collection and analysis protocols.
• Participate in lab meetings and contribute to intellectual life of the group.
• Present findings at national and international conferences.
