Job summary

Nathan S. Kline Institute for Psychiatric Research (NKI) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research position in the Center for Biomedical Imaging and Neuromodulation. Work on awake memory reactivation using multimodal data, including fMRI and physiology, under Arielle Tambini.

The successful candidate will design studies, oversee data quality, mentor staff, and contribute to publications while collaborating closely with the group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of professional research in an appropriate field or master's degree may substitute for one year of experience.
• Ph.D. in neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience, psychology, biomedical engineering, computer science, or related field preferred.
• Experience with NIH-funded research and data analysis on neuroimaging datasets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and collaboratively, owning analysis projects within a team.
• Contribute to design and implementation of NIH-funded studies on awake memory consolidation.
• Oversee data quality monitoring and preprocessing of fMRI, physiology, and behavioral data.
• Develop and execute advanced data analysis projects on prospective and existing datasets.
• Drive manuscript preparation and publication of research findings.
• Mentor Research Assistants on data collection and analysis.
• Present findings at national and international conferences.
