Idaho National Laboratory invites one or more postdoctoral researchers to work in the Hydrogen and Electrochemistry Department on solid oxide cell experiments at elevated temperatures in Idaho Falls. The team uses a 9x80 schedule with alternating Fridays off and seeks candidates with deep lab experience in impedance spectroscopy, GC/MS, FTIR, Raman, and related measurement techniques.

• PhD in chemical engineering, materials science, electrochemistry, or related discipline.
• PhD completed by appointment start; within the previous 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on laboratory data collection and interpretation; document preparation (reports, journal articles).
• Prepare and present results to internal and external communities.
• Contribute to proposal development for new work with team members.
