Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Biology or related field is required or ABD with graduation plan.
• Experience with Drosophila as a model organism is strongly preferred.
• Advanced wet-lab biology experience in molecular genetics or development is expected.

Responsibilities

• Independently managing research projects with the goal of publication and presentation.
• Conducting experiments in collaboration with the PI and lab team.
• Seek fellowship opportunities with mentorship from the PI.
• Contribute to training students in routine lab techniques and protocols.
• Present work at lab meetings and local/national conferences.
• Participate in routine lab teamwork activities and maintenance.
