The McKinney-Aguirre Lab uses in translational large animal models to study epithelial recovery following clinically-relevant epithelial injury – with a special interest in the role of the microenvironment driving intestinal regeneration. The Lab is housed in the College of Veterinary Medicine and is part of Center for Gastrointestinal Biology and Disease.
The research fellow will assist with the generation of research hypotheses. It is anticipated that the candidate will contribute preliminary data to research proposals and serve as a co-investigator and/or key personnel.
