The Modeling Equitable and Accessible Spaces for Everyone (M-EASE) project in the Department of Psychology at Rutgers University–New Brunswick invites applications for a postdoctoral associate. The successful candidate will design and implement VR experiments, analyze data, and contribute to manuscripts; collaboration across CS, psychology, mathematics, and architecture/design is expected.

A doctoral degree in a related field and strong coding skills are required; VR, ML, and data modeling

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in cognitive psychology, cognitive science, computer science/engineering, language sciences, or a related field.
• The applicant should have strong programming skills and experience analyzing/modeling the results of human subject experiments.
• Experience with virtual reality development, machine learning, or advanced data analyses and modeling are highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to conceptualization, design, performance, analysis, and modeling of VR experiments.
• Prepare manuscripts for publication and collaborate across disciplines including psychology, CS, math, and architecture/design.
