Boston Children's Hospital's Yu Laboratory in the Division of Genetics and Genomics (Harvard Medical School) seeks a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to advance neurogenetics and genomic medicine. You will work on interdisciplinary projects combining biology, computation, and clinical translation.

The role emphasizes bioinformatics, neuroscience, and translational genomics, with opportunities to lead independent projects and contribute to grant proposals within a collaborative team

Qualifications

• PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent in bioinformatics
• Experience with antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) development or RNA-targeting therapeutics is preferred
• Experience with genomic technologies, neurobiological models, or therapeutic development is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsabilités

• Design and conduct independent research projects related to neurogenetics and genomic medicine
• Apply bioinformatic and genomic techniques to study neurodevelopmental disorders
• Analyze and interpret genomic and experimental data
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across clinical and research programs
• Prepare manuscripts, present findings at scientific meetings, and contribute to grant applications
