Qualifications

  • PhD at time of appointment.
  • Demonstrated independent design, execution, and interpretation of experiments with a strong publication record (first-author).
  • Experience with analytical chemistry and biological protein projects preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Generate mechanistic insights that influence analytical control strategy, molecule design, and formulation development.
  • Design and conduct MS-based mechanistic studies of protein fragmentation pathways in biologics.
  • Apply MS, chromatography, and structural analysis to identify fragmentation products and map fragmentation sites.
  • Integrate experimental data with modeling to improve degradation behavior predictions.
  • Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at scientific conferences.
