Job summary
The Liang Laboratory at The Wistar Institute is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral fellows to join a collaborative research team focused on fundamental cellular mechanisms in cancer and infectious disease, with translational opportunities. Projects include oncogenic addiction mechanisms and host response pathways with therapeutic implications.

Qualifications
- PhD in molecular biology, cancer biology, immunology, or a related field.
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute complex research projects.
- Solid background in molecular and cellular biology and/or biochemistry.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of ongoing projects with momentum and transition studies from departing trainees.
- Develop independent research directions and drive innovative projects.
- Collaborate across cancer biology, immunology, and infectious disease research.
- Utilize 3D culture systems, animal models, and interdisciplinary approaches.
- Contribute to a team-oriented, rigorous scientific environment.
