Mount Sinai’s Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism Institute (DOMI) invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow. The candidate will study beta-cell biology, transcription factor dynamics (including ChREBP axis) and cytoprotective mechanisms using NIH-funded projects.

Work includes hands-on mouse handling, confocal imaging, and potential NGS analysis, with the aim of high-impact publications and grant contributions.

Competenze

• Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or a closely related discipline.
• Experience in molecular biology and biochemistry with hands-on mouse handling and in vivo protocols.
• Prior expertise in pancreatic islet biology is highly preferred.
