Qualifications

• PhD in human genetics or closely related field.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Experience analyzing human genetic or genomic data.
• Proficiency in R.
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
• Strong understanding of statistical principles in genetic/epidemiologic research.
• Ability to independently analyze data, interpret results, and troubleshoot.
• Strong scientific writing and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in GWAS and sequencing analyses, plus polygenic risk scores, fine-mapping or colocalization.
• Experience with large-scale biobank datasets and HPC workflows.
• Strong publication record and scientific ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead independent research projects from study design through analysis and publication.
• Analyze large-scale genomic datasets including GWAS and sequencing data.
• Integrate genomic data with clinical and multi-omics datasets.
• Develop and implement rigorous statistical and computational approaches for human genetics.
• Interpret findings in the context of disease biology and potential clinical relevance.
• Prepare manuscripts and present findings at meetings.
• Contribute to grant applications and new research directions.
• Collaborate across genetics, epidemiology, bioinformatics, data science.
