Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a PhD-level scientist to lead method development and validation studies using LC-(HR)MS/MS for TK/PK/biomarker assessment in a GLP-compliant environment.

The role requires hands-on MS expertise, protocol development, data interpretation, and dedication to regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include instrument maintenance, QA documentation, and managing project timelines in a bioanalytical services setting.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Food Science, Plant Science or related scientific discipline.
• Hands-on experience in mass spectrometry.
• Ability to independently manage one or more method development/validation studies with minimum supervision.
• Ability to prepare, review, and understand study protocols
• Ability to evaluate data significance and report findings
• Ability to prepare study summaries and reports
• Ability to set up, utilize, and maintain complex instrumentation
• Ability to maintain regulatory compliance and prepare QA-related documents
• Ability to address QA audit findings
• Ability to maintain project schedules and timelines
• Experience developing, validating, and running LC-(HR)MS/MS assays for TK/PK/biomarker assessment
• Knowledge of GLP regulations and SOPs
• Ability to follow GLP regulations and SOPs in bioanalytical service activities

Responsibilities

• Independently manage one or more method development and validation studies
• Prepare, review, and understand study protocols
• Evaluate data significance and report findings
• Prepare study summaries and reports
• Set up, utilize, and maintain complex instrumentation
• Maintain regulatory compliance for each study
• Prepare QA-related documents and address QA audit findings
• Maintain project schedules and timelines
• Develop, validate, and run LC-(HR)MS/MS assays for TK/PK/biomarker assessment
• Ensure GLP regulations and SOPs are followed in bioanalytical service activities
• Support QPS’s bioanalytical capabilities for biomarker quantitation
