The selected candidate will investigate water column acoustic backscatter and the organisms that cause this scattering. Successful candidates will have strong communication skills, both written and oral.

The Senior Postdoctoral Associate will conduct research in the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences under the supervision of Principal Investigator, Dr. Joseph Warren working on highly complex, and technically broad challenges and problems such as the investigations of water column acoustic backscatter and the organisms that cause this scattering. Successful candidates will have strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Senior Postdoctoral Associate duties will include:

Both the Senior Postdoctoral Associate and Postdoctoral Associate position will require extended work days and time away at sea, estimated to be typically 1-2 days per trip with an occasional trip possibly of longer duration (5-10 days), trips would occur ~ 6-10 times per year.
