Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in the Department of Ophthalmology. The fellow will investigate genomic evolution, immune evasion, and metastasis in uveal melanoma using RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, scRNA-seq, and spatial transcriptomics, alongside cell culture and mouse models.

Ph.D. with relevant coursework is required; less than six years of postdoctoral experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. with major coursework in the field of assignment.
• No postdoctoral experience required beyond Ph.D. (less than 6 years).
• Experience with genomic approaches and cancer biology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Study genomic evolution, immune evasion, and metastasis in uveal melanoma.
• Utilize sequencing and epigenetic profiling to interrogate tumor biology.
• Contribute to manuscript preparation and data interpretation under supervision.
