Job summary

The Loyola University Chicago laboratory of Dr. Rama Shankar invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow to join a new program on systems immunology and multi-omics approaches to sepsis, MODS, and critical illness.

You will lead projects integrating single-cell and bulk data with clinical information to uncover immune mechanisms and biomarkers of progression. Ideal candidates hold MD or PhD and have experience with Python/R, single-cell analyses, and HPC.

Qualifications

• MD or PhD required.
• Experience with single-cell and multi-omics integration.
• Knowledge of RNA-seq and immunology.
• Experience with clinical datasets and HPC.

Responsibilities

• Lead independent and collaborative research projects.
