Job summary

UC Davis School of Medicine's Link Laboratory in Davis, CA, invites applications for a 100% FTE Postdoctoral Scholar to study nutrition–microbiome–immune cell crosstalk, focusing on macrophage interactions in mice and humans using multi-omics. Candidates should hold MD and/or PhD in a relevant field with experience in immunology; mucosal and innate immunity are preferred.

Experience with high-throughput sequencing (RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, scRNA-seq) and microbiome analysis is highly

Qualifications

• MD and/or PhD in molecular biology, immunology, cell biology, or relevant discipline by start date.
• Experience in general immunology.
• Experience in cell-based assays including flow cytometry.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning, designing, and executing complex research projects under supervision.
• Contribute to grant applications and publications.
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative research team.
