Job summary

Brookhaven National Laboratory's Chemistry Division is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to perform fundamental research into photon- and electron-driven chemistry relevant to EUV lithography.

The successful candidate will work in the EPIP group, collaborating with CFN and NSLS-II to investigate chemical transformations using transient absorption spectroscopy and pulse radiolysis at LEAF, supervised by Dr. Matthew Bird and with Dr. Grills, Nam, and Sadowski.

Qualifications

• PhD in physical chemistry or a related field.
• Experience in photochemistry, radiation chemistry, or EUV lithography.
• Experience with pulse radiolysis, optical transient absorption or related spectroscopic methods.
• Proficiency in solution preparation and basic purification (glovebox, Schlenk, NMR).

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform experiments at LEAF.
• Analyze transient absorption data and generate spectra plots.
• Publish papers and present at seminars and conferences.
