Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the lab of Dr. Yadav Sapkota. The project focuses on pharmacogenomics of long-term toxicities from childhood cancer therapies and survivorship.

Candidates will work with whole-genome and exome sequencing, multi-omics data, and diverse cohorts, gaining training in genetic epidemiology, pharmacogenomics, and computational biology within a collaborative, world-class environment.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent degree in genetics, epidemiology, biostatistics, bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong publication record.
• Strong research interests in genetic epidemiology, pharmacogenomics, statistical genetics, or population genetics and experience in statistical and computational analyses of high-throughput omics data.
• Ability to code in one or more scientific programming languages (e.g., R, Python, C/C++).
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
