Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in molecular biology, functional genomics, single cell genomics, and/or spatial omics.
• Strong computational experience with single cell genomic or spatial data analysis; fluent in Python or similar.
• Demonstrated ability to publish first-author work in leading journals or on bioRxiv.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable measurement tools to acquire molecular, imaging and functional readouts from perturbation studies in in vitro complex models.
• Design and execute multimodal functional genomics screens to investigate disease mechanisms at cellular and tissue levels.
• Collaborate with computational biologists and AI scientists to integrate and interpret multimodal data and explore predictive modeling strategies.
• Collaborate across labs and present work to project teams and contribute to high-impact publications.
• Join Genentech’s postdoctoral program to pursue fundamental questions while building methods that drive drug development.
