Qualifications

• Recent PhD in atmospheric, geospatial, environmental science, earth system science, or related field.
• Experience with remote sensing and satellite/aerial imagery analysis.
• Proficient in geospatial data processing and GIS tools (ArcGIS/QGIS).
• Demonstrated ML/CV techniques on image-based data.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Map methane-emitting infrastructure across key East Asia regions.
• Compile data from public resources, government reports, literature, and EO imagery.
• Analyze, integrate, and visualize geospatial data; develop structured datasets.
• Prepare reports, datasets, and technical summaries for publication.
• Collaborate with EDF scientists and Cornell collaborators.
• Contribute to grant proposals and other written materials.
