Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Medical Physics, or closely related field (completed or defended before start).
• Experience in medical imaging analysis (MRI, CT, OCT, fundus imaging, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in PyTorch and modern DL workflows.
• Solid programming skills in Python and scientific stack (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn).
• Track record of peer‑reviewed publications.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and evaluate DL models for medical image analysis (classification, segmentation, detection).
• Build reproducible PyTorch pipelines including data preprocessing and validation.
• Curate and manage imaging datasets with data governance and privacy adherence.
• Design and run experiments; iterate on model architectures and training strategies.
• Publish first‑author papers in peer‑reviewed venues.
• Contribute to grant proposals, reports, and presentations.
• Collaborate with clinical partners to ensure clinical relevance.
